Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa will be distributed globally on February 1. This new work is based on the novel by Toshiki Okada, which was published in Shogakukan's Big Comic Spirits on December 1, 2020.
The story revolves around the case of the missing Hanzawa Tensai, which was left unsolved even after the passage of 10 years. One day, Detective Conan and his friends discover a new clue that leads them to the Culprit Hanzawa.
This work is the latest in the Detective Conan franchise, which has been running for over 25 years. The franchise has been adapted into an anime, a live-action drama, and multiple films.
The animation is based on Gosho Aoyama's manga series. The story recounts the exploits of Shinichi Kudo, a high school investigator who is converted into a child by an evil syndicate. The syndicate intends to utilise Shinichi's thoughts to locate their headquarters.

TMS Entertainment is producing and Yukihiko Tsutsumi is directing Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa. Yukiko Uchida wrote the series, which stars Minami Takayama, Wakana Yamazaki, Ayumi Yoshida, and Rikiya Koyama in the lead roles.
