Aimer Announces Her Marriage To Masahiro Tobiuchi On New Year's Day


Japanese singer-songwriter Aimer has announced that she got married to music creator Masahiro Tobinai on January 1st. The news was posted on her official website on the same day.


Aimer made her major label debut in 2011 with the release of her mini-album Your Favorite Things. She has since released eight studio albums and numerous singles. Her music has been used as the theme song for various anime series, such as “Fate/stay night” and “Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt”.


Masahiro Tobinai is a music creator and sound director. He has worked on the soundtracks for various video games, such as “NieR:Automata” and “Bayonetta”. He has also composed music for Aimer’s albums and singles.


The couple have not announced any further plans at this time.
